As vehicles transition to Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures, traditional signal- and ECU-centric diagnostics are no longer sufficient to meet the demands of centralized and service-oriented systems. To address these evolving requirements, Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics (SOVD), standardized under ISO 17978, has been introduced.
TECHNVIL, an authoring member of the SOVD standard within the Association for Standardization of Automation and Measurement Systems (ASAM), offers fully ISO 17978 compliant, SOVD-ready solutions that enable end-to-end, full-stack diagnostics within the vehicle.
